Homeward bound for Christmas. Sold as Christmas cards. A5 £2 each the old station at Ivybridge

4. Oil 20 x 16″. Arriving home for Christmas at the Old Railway Station (closed 1959). The train is in the colours of the ‘Cornish Riviera Express’which started taking Londoners to Devon and Cornwall in 1904 coming accross the viaduct with Western Beacon in the distance. How lovely to have a nice warm waiting room on those cold winter days!
